Hi Nicola, lovely to have you visit at my blog.I had a delightful time looking at views of Sydney ... some of which I know from time spent at friends in Clovelly. Paperbark trees on June 30th was a stand out....there were others...but wanted to say how much they stole my attention.... could happily live with that watercolour! best, Sophie
The emphasis of Nicola Moir’s work is on those familiar ‘in-between’ spaces, capturing the everyday detail of how we know, move through, and imprint our values on the city. These are the forgotton spaces we inhabit between work, home and leisure. They are the spaces where we come together as a community.

Thanks Sophie. As a recent immigrant to Australia I find the vegetation here novel and striking. The Paperbark Tree piece was an enjoyment of this.
